Photography is one of the ways Tim slows down long enough to notice the things that are easy to miss. A bird in the brush, light across a field, a mushroom tucked under leaves, the detail in an insect wing, or a moment outdoors that would otherwise be gone in seconds all tend to catch his attention. What started as an interest in childhood has grown into a serious love of photographing wildlife, nature, landscapes, and the little details of creation that are often overlooked. This page is where some of his favorite images are gathered, along with the occasional story behind them, the lessons learned while taking them, and whatever caught his eye enough to make him stop, pick up the camera, and take one more picture.

Tim's photography style purposely steers away from the highly polished and highly edited photos currently looked for in professional photography. He prefers to show raw, true views shown in nature with minimal editing simply clearing up what needs cleared up, highlighting washed out colors, or fixes that show the viewer what he actually saw at the time of the image. He fully prefers reality over polish, and that is reflected in most of his photography.
